I was lying peacefully in my bed, with the cat curled up next to me and birds chirping outside, when I started to hear Ariana. She will entertain herself for quite a while when she wakes up in the morning, content to just play in her crib for the time being. So I lay there for 15 more minutes before finally admitting that I needed to get up.
I went in to her room and announced that it was time for a diaper change, because I could smell it when I walked in the room. As I carried her over to the table, I noticed that her bottom didn't feel quite right, and her leg had a huge lump. Oh no...I thought. The truth was revealed as I unzipped her sleeper. Her diaper had come undone on one side and fallen down the leg of her pajamas. The poop was down the other leg, stuck all over it. I was glad I hadn't had breakfast yet because it was a huge mess. I took a clean diaper and used it to wipe as much off as possible, then used several wipes. Then we took a bath instead of having breakfast, which she was not so happy about.
Anyhow, I have had an exciting morning. I thought I would tell you about it since I haven't written anything in so long.

Look at the bright side: The family that had sextuplets said they were changing 70 diapers an hour at one point!
Well she got prunes in her oatmeal for breakfast in return. I don't want any more nighttime surprises.
